This series of timpani includes a tuning gauge. Finetuner on timpani produces tuning, especially while using calfheads 'Head Lock': The lockable tension screws prevent head slippage during transport. The tuning mechanism is centrally operated.

Easy to ransport The LEFIMA-light Belt Timpani combine excellent tonal quality with extraordinarily low weight and very compact construction The tuning mechanism sits completely underneath the counterhoopfor school music as well as for professionals. The low-force active tuning system (Pat. Pend.) works concentrically and sits completely underneath the counterhoop for trouble-free playing. This means no crossing wires and no jutting-out tension posts! The belt tuning mechanism is maintenance-free and allows the use of calfskin heads.
